We all need to take time away to rest and regroup. My husband more than most. He is on the go constantly juggling house, work and family and (unlike me) puts 'down time' at the bottom of his priority list. But today is Mike's birthday! The perfect excuse to head up to our favorite "staycation" getaway- Newport! It is restaurant week in Newport with all sorts of opportunities to eat and drink our way through his birthday. We going to our favorite spots (in case he reads this- cannot reveal the surprise) and just enjoy his day.
