This might as well be national vacation week. The weather has been near perfect since Saturday and every work voice mail says "please note, I will be out of the office until August 10th." We have friends visiting from out of town this weekend. It is time enjoy the New England we have been neglecting in our own backyard- buy those lobsters after spending the day rolling around in the chilly East Beach surf of Watch Hill. It is time to just lay on the beach and perfect the relaxing mix of racing and invigorated heartbeat, warm sand and the slight sting of cool salt water. Cooper, my yellow lab from years gone by always taught me a thing or two about enjoying the dog days of summer. Yep, it is time to unplug. Cooper-style.
